Graduate Spotlight: Colton Grahmann Turns Passion into Purpose
After high school, Colton worked in and out of the oil industry. The money was good until the oil business would take a downturn, and then would come the layoffs. Each time that happened, he would work at another job until the oilfield improved, and then he would return to oil and gas. The cycle worked until he was injured on the job and couldn鈥檛 go back.

鈥淚 want to continue my education so that I can help others who struggle like I have struggled with PTSD and addiction. I want to also go back overseas and help those veterans who experience PTSD. I want to give to others what I have found and accomplished, and help them to succeed too.鈥�
Graduate Spotlight: Chris Waters Commits to Growth and Achievement
Chris says that he enjoys the additional time that he has with his wife, four sons, and daughter. When he graduates, he will be the first in his family to get a bachelor鈥檚 degree, and he may pursue his master鈥檚 degree.
Graduate Spotlight: Sendra and Cesar Rios Achieve Success as a Team
Sendra stated that she never thought she and Cesar would be in the nursing class together, but he applied to the RN program and was accepted, and now they will graduate together.
Graduate Spotlight: Daniela Rivera Pursues Her Dreams with Determination
Now, Daniela is ready to take the next step. She will transfer to the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) to pursue her bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology. Her ultimate goal is to earn a master鈥檚 degree and use her experiences to provide her children with a better life while making a difference in her community.
