Globe Theater doors at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ

ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ is home to The Globe Theater – a 410-seat venue hosting theatre performances and community activities. The idea of the reconstruction of a Shakesperean Theater in Odessa originated in 1948 in Mrs. Marjorie Morris’ senior English class at Odessa High School as a project of the OHS Shakespeare Club. In the 1960s, the vision of then ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ professor Marjorie Morris came to fruition in the construction of the Globe Theater at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ. For 50 years, the Globe Theater has hosted theatre and community events. With the re-establishment of the OC Theatre Performance Program, it also functions as one of the best classrooms on campus.
